Recycled Waste
All waste received to our Waste Recycling Centre is meticulously pre sorted, rehandled, trommeled, picked, magnetised and blown as part of our Recycling Programme. As you can see all our recycled products are sorted into different categories, as illustrated:
- Wood is converted to make new chipboard and mdf products
- Cardboard is bailed and sent distributed to paper mills
- Plastics are reprocessed into new plastic items
- Metals are fragmentised and sent for the production of new steel
- Aggregates go to build road making projects
- Soils go to civil engineering companies and landscapers
- Cable is stripped and recycled for it's copper content
